And now you're mine

I have not seen the movie Il Postino (The Postman) but I once owned a CD of its soundtrack. It was one of my favorites. If you are looking for the music to bring out the romantic feels, this is the one. It is also a compilation of some of the best poetry by Pablo Neruda.

And as a bonus, a group of big names from Hollywood came together to pay tribute to the Poet by reading his work. There's Madonna, Andy Garcia, Julia Roberts, Sting, Samuel Jackson, Glenn Close to name a few. Featured here is 'And now you're mine', read by Andy Garcia and Julia Roberts.

Listening to it again and closing my eyes, I imagine an afternoon summer wedding in a garden, with the bride wearing a soft chiffon dress with freshly picked baby's breath in her hair. All smiles and romance, gratitude and serenity, surrounded by very close friends and family. The love is felt so strongly by everybody there, like a light shawl wrapped around the shoulders that blissful afternoon. Sigh.
